Okay, so this is my first time blogging. I must say I am always way behind on technological advances. Rather interesting considering the field I'm going into. This is just a trial blog, so let me know if it works. I will have to get Kandi to take some pictures for me to include. Something for you to look forward to in the future. Only eight fonts to choose from?! That kind of stinks. I'm a big fan of font options. Anyhew, I just started back to school last week. It's a 3 week communications cram course and I am loving it! It is by far the best class I've ever taken. My instructor is awesome, and I have learned so much life applicable stuff. I fear that I may drop off the face of the Earth over the next two years though. (That should provide great material for my children to discuss with their therapists, ten years from now.) My kids are actually very supportive of my schooling. I think they feel that I can understand where they are coming from now. They ask me how class is going and whether I have homework or not. How's that for role reversal?
Enough about me! Hunter (13) will be singing in the temple celebration tomorrow night. He is way stoked about it. Hunter also plays tennis and loves babysitting his cousins. Skylar (11) is finishing up the fifth grade and looking forward the lazy days of Summer. He also shared his first babysitting gig with Hunter, the jury is still out as to whether babysitting is his thing. He is also in charge of mowing our front yard. (I knew there were some perks to this parenting thing.) Shianne (8) was just baptized this month. She loves participating in Activity Days with her friends. She will also be performing in an Operetta next Wednesday. Her dramatic inclinations should serve her well. As for my way better half, Dave, he is getting ready for scout camp in a few weeks. The activities will include a shooting range. Teenage boys with shotguns... does anyone else see a recipe for disaster here? I'll have to get Dave's Will situated, prior to his departure. Well, corresponding is not really my thing, as you all well know. So, if you don't hear from me again for a few years, I know you will not be too surprised.

Yay! I'm so super glad that you finally started a blog! It looks great! You rock, it's true. And of course, I'm totally sitting here reading it, laughing. You're quite clever...but I've always known that. I'd love to help with the blog and with pictures. Just let me know when.
